Cranberry Sauce




Homemade Cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving, much better than that canned stuff and so easy.  This recipe is 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1 cup of orange juice, 1 12 ounce bag of cranberries, and one apple diced.  Add all ingredients to a pot and let boil and reduce.  The cranberries will start to pop loudly and the mixture will resemble a thick sauce.  Once it cools it will thicken even more.  I left mine on the stove top for about 30 minutes and it was the perfect consistency.
